My Christmas Home Tour

Greetings, from the Garretts!

You gals out there amaze me with all your magazine-worthy Christmas decor.

And although my Christmas decorating is quite minimal, I thought I'd share a Garrett glimpse.

{Don't look too closely, because I didn't dust. Ain't no one got time for that.}

Enjoy...
Our "G" tree is my favorite little decoration.
Poor carolers. I've had to glue each of their heads back on. {See: "Kids"}

Our address got dressed up for the occasion.

Atop the armoire, you'll find Rudolph and his lover, Clarice.
The Silence of the Lambs totally ruined that name for me, by the way...

My office {in a coat closet} got THIS little sign. Oh, the horror of Christmas minimalism!!

The mantle is always a special focal point once stockings are hung.
{Hooray for my ceiling fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!}

And would you BELIEVE we can't find our Christmas tree topper? Until I get one, I'll just show you a picture of this precious ornament. Each year we each select a new, special ornament. This one's mine.
Here are the little ones before church last Sunday. It's snowy, so I was thrilled for Sutton to wear her vintage reindeer pantsuit!!  {Wish you could see the stitching.} It was like a small Sally O'Mally from SNL!
Sutton, however, did not like it. She's shaking her fist at me, for cryin' out loud!! ;)

Last, and least, is our guest bathroom.
A hand towel counts as decorating...right? Right?
And there you have it, friends.
Don't forget - you may embark on a FULL home tour by clicking the link at the top of my page.

I would LOVE to visit your home, too. Please leave a link in the comments.
**Remember, I like to "follow back" a new friend. **

Thanks for visiting!

Good Morning Meredith, Your home looks beautiful with all it's Christmas finery. We are "birds of a feather" as I buy a new Christmas ornament each year and I have to say, your choice of ornament for this year is really lovely.
It does not matter if Christmas ornaments have been broken and then mended, because in years to come, when your children are grown, the memory of how the ornament was broken, will make you smile. The reason I know this is, I have many broken and mended ornaments from when our daughters were small and when I put them out at Christmas time, I always smile.
Best Wishes
Daphne

The carolers survived the kids and that will be a cute story to embarrass them with when they are teens. My decor is much less this year due to a bad kitten. Our tree is naked in fact. xo, olive

Your home looks so festive. Your carolers look pretty good for be beheaded - Many years from now your children will tell the stories of how that happened, laughing hysterically - My grown daughters have a grand ol' time telling their stories - some of which I never knew!! Happy holidays!

Things are looking festive!! I'm glad that I'm not the only one who misplaces holiday items. I currently am on the hunt for our Christmas CD collection. It's nowhere to be found. Good luck finding your tree topper.

So beautiful! You did a fabulous job! I had to laugh about gluing heads on. We may or may not have something similar going on around here!

Meredith, the house looks great. That closet/office is still one of my favorite spots in your house. I love the preppy styling. I love how warm and holiday-ish everything is. The little ones are gorgeous and it's so cute that she was upset for wearing that outfit. I love going old school and vintage at times myself and her outfit is so cute.

Also that chest? Not sure what it is that's under your gold mirror is to die for.

Hey Meredith! Love your Christmas decor! Don't you just hate it when you can't find an essential part of the decorations? I mean really, what could have possibly happened to the topper, right?! And your babies are so precious! Wish my kids could still dress up in Christmas clothes...they wouldn't though, lol!

Hi Meredith,
Your decorations are so beautiful and completely you. That's so great when you can tell who lives there by the decorations. Your mantle is gorgeous and YES holiday towels count as decoration.
