Super Quote Sunday - October 17th

Happy Sunday, and thank you for stopping by for another powerful quote.

This quote is a winner because it's so very true. Have you ever had a friend or a sibling make such a colossal mistake that you swore you would never do the same? Well, congratulations. This quote is for you.

"Smart people learn from their mistakes. However, wise people learn from other people's mistakes."

A great example of this would be when you hear stories about people texting and driving, then killing an individual on the road. Through such tragedies, we vow to do better in order to avoid similar outcomes.

I consider how fortunate I am not to have been THAT person, as I am guilty of having texted behind the wheel. I know, that's bonkers. I have since stopped after watching Oprah, of course, and can't believe I ever did it!

Thought For the Day: Rather than holding a gavel and judging (or gossiping about) people when they mess up, perhaps we should silently learn from their errors. Even if we don't have all the information about what went wrong with one's circumstances, it's best to give people the benefit of the doubt.
